Hello Twig Player users

Twig World’s contract with Education Scotland ended on 31 July 2017. Part of that process means that Twig Player will be decommissioned as of 1 August 2017.

What does this mean for me?

This means that you are no longer able to download videos from the Twig and Tigtag websites to play offline.

What about the videos I have already downloaded?

You can play any videos already downloaded before 1t August 2017 for up to 14 days beyond the date it is first played. Just make sure you play any downloaded videos before 1 August 2017 to activate their licence.

How do I activate the licence?

To activate the licence simply open Twig Player and play the film whilst connected to the internet. You must do this before before 1 August 2017 to play any films that you have downloaded.

What should I do next?

We recommend that you uninstall Twig Player in order to free up space on your computer. For network administrators, we recommend that you uninstall Twig Player in order to avoid confusion amongst users after 1 August 2017.
